OnePacs can provide DICOM modality worklist service via the OnePacs Gateway, consuming order (ORM) messages from a RIS or EMR system, allowing DICOM imaging modalities to query for worklist data to automate population of patient and exam data in the imaging data. The ORM message sent to OnePacs must include the following information
- Patient demographic information including patient name and ID.
- Procedure information
- Scheduling information
- Identification of the device or modality
Orders may be sent to OnePacs over the local network or via TLS with appropriate networking configuration. Additionally a centralized order feed can be securely distributed to multiple geographically separate sites with the "MWL Hub" configuration.
